Since Casey and I have been together we tend to have consistently great Valentine’s Day Days. Which doesn’t really go with our whole mission statement as a couple. I’m a notorious “THIS IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE” for all Holidays and Birthdays. And Casey is in a constant state of low key-ism. So why does V-Day always go so well? I asked Casey this question the other day along with a string of other questions like: Are you proposing on Valentine’s Day? Are you proposing on our Anniversary? Are you proposing to me right now??? Inconclusive on all fronts. But, my theory is that V-Day is perfectly timed in the middle of absolutely nothing and also just close enough to the big holidays to add a little “let’s make up for not going out on New Years”. And, I’m about to get real annoying up in here and add that I’m also lucky to have one of those really sweet guys who would never let me go without flowers, chocolate and extra hugs on a Holiday that mandates it. I know, I know, I know.
So, what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Do you hate it or love it? Do you have a formula for success?
